PROFILE: Quatex is not the usual blending of personalities of his individual parts. Instead, he is a mind of his own. He beleives in Launch and Booster Blast's cause, but also beleives that the Decepticons will be attracted to these new worlds. thus, he is their defeder and also his partner's only hope of survival and success in their mission.

ABILITIES: Quantex can draw on the energy from Booster Blast's fusion chamber and the data collected by Lauch to help formulate battle plans and cary them out. He can quantum leap from planet to planet. He uses an electron sabre and a tandem energy siphon that can absorb energy from its target as well as from nearby stars.

WEAKNESS: After a quantum leap Quantex's Energon reserves are extremely low. Thus, the reason for the energy siphon. It is possible to disable him if he does not get enough time to use the siphon. Of course, energy weapons may not prove very effective.
